This small town beach park celebrates its rich historic and natural importance with thousands of visitors annually. Interpretive signage highlights the home of the Newton’s – and their internationally famous guests–at their ocean front property. Exhibits also interpret the importance of coastal area as a habitat for plants, native and migratory birds, sea turtles, and other species that reside on the Gulf of Mexico. Additional wayfinding and park markers encourage visitors to utilize the park amenities and respect the beach environment.
