Frina Design was tasked with researching and scripting an exciting find — a circa 1919 wall of names hidden for nearly a century. Discovered during restoration of the Capitol Theater, a hidden wall revealed the names of pioneer families and other locals. Further research identified these as Veterans of the Great War. The exhibit interprets the discovery and mystery of the Wall of Honor and became an opportunity to highlight personal history of some over 100 men. A small portion of the bricks were removed to be preserved as well as to tell a moving and compelling story of the local men and their contributions to the war effort and to their community. The exhibit features two unpainted bricks for visitors to touch and get a sense of history.
